855 North Wolfe Street, the first of five planned life science buildings at the Science + Technology Park at Johns Hopkins, is programmed to support the sophisticated requirements of early-stage to mature life science organizations. Anchored by the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine’s Institute for Basic Biomedical Sciences, the building offers 278,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities with immediate proximity to the resources of America’s most respected medical institution.
The building is designed in a sustainable manner to achieve LEED certification. Metalwërks® contracted with Hensel Phelps Construction Company to design, furnish, & install a small but intricate application of custom manufactured wet-sealed cladding for the columns and beams for an exterior streetscape trellis. Also involved was the cladding of the main entry canopy with flush integrated light fixtures.
