Metalwërks® contracted with Balfour Beatty Construction of Fairfax VA in early 2008 to design, furnish, and install approximately 20,000 sq ft of Metalwërks Omniplate™ 1500 panels and a custom manufactured aluminum trellis feature in the main port cohere.
The design of the Omniplate 1500 portion of the project includes all types of cladding from simple wall panels to curved profiled cornice panels at the pool side bar canopy. Constructed panels in an area of close proximity to the guest required zero tolerance manufacturing work.
The custom ornamental aluminum trellis was pre-manufactured and erected in our shop, dismantled, shipped out for finishing, and installed in the field within a week of the grand opening.
